Instructions for use

The sowing period varies with the climatic conditions of the area where you want to create the lawn.
WARM ENVIRONMENT: Southern Italy and flat areas of the Centre Italy from February to April / from September to November.
TEMPERATE ENVIRONMENT: Central Italy and hilly/mountainous areas in the South from March to April / from the end of August to the end of October.
COOL ENVIRONMENT: Northern Italy and hilly/mountainous areas of Central Italy from the beginning of April to the beginning of June / from mid-August to mid-October.
COLD ENVIRONMENT: Alpine and high Apennine areas from the beginning of May to the beginning of July / from mid-August to mid-September.

PROCESSING ON THE SOIL BEFORE SOWING
The best result is obtained by adequately preparing the ground:
1. Clean the ground from stones and debris, remove weeds.
2. Finely work the soil without going too deep, maximum 15/20 cm.
3. Incorporate an organic element into the soil to make it softer and a specific fertilizer to make it more fertile and rich in nutrients.
4. Level the ground by providing it with a slight and uniform slope from the center towards the edges.

SOWING
Accurately mix the seeds in the box before spreading, in order to have a well-balanced mix of the essences. Mixing the seeds with fine sand makes it easier to sow and correctly distribute the seeds. Sow on dry ground and distribute the seed by crossing over twice.

PROCESSING THE SOIL
Cover the seed with a layer of fine sand or loam, roll or compact the soil. Water initially several times a day with little water to keep the soil constantly humid in the superficial 3-4 cm until the grass is born. Then gradually reduce the frequency of watering by increasing the quantity of water distributed in each single application.

CUTTING
Once germination is complete, on dry ground, roll to strengthen the new lawn. Upon reaching 8-10 cm in height, it is advisable to make the first cut by adjusting the height to no less than 5-6 cm. The subsequent cuts must be regular, so that the lawn can become thicker and more compact. Gradually decrease the height without ever going below about 3 cm.

WATERING
Adult turf does best with plenty of water distributed less frequently. The water can go down in depth for the benefit of the root system, leaving the surface of the soil dry for longer and keeping it healthy.
WARM ENVIRONMENT: Irrigate abundantly 2-3 times a week.
TEMPERATE ENVIRONMENT: Irrigate abundantly once a week.
COOL ENVIRONMENT: Irrigate abundantly once every 10-15 days.
COLD ENVIRONMENT: Emergency irrigation only in long dry periods. Generally the adult turf does not require irrigation from the beginning of October to the end of March.

FERTILIZING
It is advisable to fertilize just before watering with the following frequency:
END OF WINTER: Fertilize lightly
END OF SPRING: Fertilize moderately
END OF SUMMER: Fertilize abundantly
MIDDLE AUTUMN: Fertilize intensely
Use only specific fertilizers for lawns, at the beginning of summer and at the beginning of winter it is advisable to distribute a fertilizer rich in phosphorus and potassium. For any other requirements and needs, it is advisable to contact your trusted dealer or consult specific turf use and maintenance manuals.
